Albright Art Parlors Photographs

Scope and Content This collection consists of portraits of local dignitaries, politicians and people of note which were produced in the Albright Art Parlors studios in Santa Fe and Albuquerque between 1880 and 1912 by resident operators. These portraits (on cabinet, boudoir and some larger card stock) offer a glimpse into the people and styles current in New Mexico during this period of time.

Atrisco Oral History Project

Scope and Content The Atrisco Oral History Project, also known as Herencia: The Atrisco Community, was conducted over nine months in 1984, with the exception of one interview which was conducted in 1981. North Valley Oral History Project

Scope and Content In 1982, Kathryn Sargeant and Mary Davis began an archaeological survey of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, an incorporated village in the Albuquerque's North Valley. Part of the project involved speaking with local people and asking for permission to walk across and examine their properties for archaeological sites. Scope and Content The collection consists of a total of eighteen interviews with eight individuals, recorded on eighteen 90 minute audiocassette tapes.
